The organ used to be in the minstrel's gallery at the end of the entrance hall in the 1930's.
The organ was then installed in Christchurch Cathedral, Victoria, British Columbia. It was donated by the Mitchell's, then owners of the manor, to a school in Canada. The school was for British children who emigrated and it closed in the 1970's.
